Lee Gunn practices with the Tampa law firm of Gunn Law Group, P.A., where he primarily prosecutes insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, medical malpractice, and catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

Lee received his law degree from the University of Florida in 1982 and was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame in recognition of his leadership activities. For the first 17 years of his practice, he defended insurance companies, hospitals, manufacturers, and corporations including Coca-Cola Enterprises, Hospital Corporation of America, Enterprise Leasing Company, Walgreen Co., AAA AutoClub South, GEICO, State Farm Fire Insurance Company, Travelers Insurance Companies, and USAA.

In 2000, Lee decided to instead represent policyholders and the injured. He now focuses his practice upon the prosecution of cases involving substantial losses throughout Florida. Lee has obtained numerous multimillion-dollar recoveries for his clients.

Lee is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by The Florida Bar (1990) and the National Board of Trial Advocates (1995). He is AV® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®. He has been further recognized by Super Lawyers®, Best Lawyers in America®,National Law Journal, National Trial Lawyer - Top 100, and Florida Trend’s Legal Elite. Lee is a Trustee for the University of Florida Law Center Association and Hillsborough County Bar Foundation, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocacy (“ABOTA”), the Florida Justice Association (Eagle Centurion), and American Association for Justice.
